Porcelain laminates are wafer thin shells of porcelain that are bonded onto the front side of teeth to create cosmetic improvements. Porcelain veneers are an excellent choice as they create a life-like appearance and also resist staining.
Your first appointment involves some tooth preparation. Your teeth are prepared by removing a small amount of the front surface of the tooth to allow spacing for the porcelain. Then a qualified assistant will take an impression of your teeth. This impression is used by the laboratory technician to create your veneers.
